Via Stoica — a channel about life and philosophy
Arsen Amatuni’s second channel is not about money. It covers life, philosophy and how society works: motivation without social-media quotes, how decisions get made, who controls people’s attention and how. Long, unhurried conversations.
What the channel is about
- Stoicism in practice. Philosophy as a tool for decisions, not quotes in a frame.
- The hero’s journey. The call, the refusal, the dark forest and the return — how every adult lives through this story.
- Subject, not object. Responsibility for one’s own decisions is the line that divides people, in the market and in life.
- How society works. Who controls people’s attention, how, and how not to become someone else’s tool.
Personal story
In 2018, Arsen lived through a personal “hero’s journey”: a move from a distant Russian city, new surroundings and a new job. That experience is one of the reasons behind a channel about growing up and responsibility.
The name refers to Stoicism as a practical philosophy: stay calm about what is beyond your control and take responsibility for what is within it.
Why an analyst runs a philosophy channel
Markets and life work alike: emotional decisions ruin everything done right before them. Via Stoica is about making decisions calmly.
